Hello,
My name is Milyana Vasileva and I am an interior designer with a bachelor's degree in Spatial Design and nearly 20 years of professional experience in the design, planning and implementation of numerous projects.

As the chief interior designer at GP Group AD (2010-2023), I have participated in the design and implementation of a large number of commercial establishments, offices, public spaces, hotels, etc.
Developing design concepts tailored to client needs and the latest industry trends was only half of my job at the company. The other part of my duties was the management of a team of builders and coordination with architects, engineers and other specialists in order to achieve high quality and innovation in the implementation of the projects.

The ability to create innovative and functional design solutions and my skills in leading and coordinating teams, and managing budgets and deadlines, gave me a leading role in the design and implementation of more than 200 commercial facilities for Lukoil, including gas stations and sales halls.
I have worked on numerous sales halls, focusing on the functionality, aesthetics and ergonomics of the spaces. I have collaborated with various departments of Lukoil to create unique and attractive commercial spaces that meet corporate standards and customer needs.

Over the years, I have been part of the implementation of many successful projects of GP Group AD, which have received recognition for their innovation and quality, as well as in the development and implementation of new design concepts that have increased the functionality and aesthetics of the spaces.

In 2023, I created my own interior design studio with the idea of creating unique solutions for each client. "Because it's not about what you have, it's about what it means to you."
Each project has different goals to achieve - better distribution of zones, improvement of traffic between them, adjustment of the level of illumination, more ergonomic furniture and better organization of them in the space or simply adding luxury to the room. That is why every design solution is unique and my goal and desire is to make my clients happy.

The Working Process

1. Planned redistribution

Interior design is a process in which the first step towards the preparation of a project is the planned redistribution and functional distribution of areas in the interior.

After a conversation with the customers about their wishes and requirements for the various rooms and their purpose, a visit is made to the site, where all the technological dimensions of the rooms, light openings, etc. are taken. Finally the individual parts in the rooms are zoned - positions of the furniture and walkways.

2. Stylish construction of the interior

The second step is design and selection of the various components in an interior – furniture and materials for them, lighting, decorations for walls and floors and others.

The selection of specific furniture is carried out according to the customer's requirements for brand, functionality, color, design and others.
Depending on the function and the rest of the design, lighting fixtures with certain characteristics are selected, as well as the way they fit into the general interior.

Materials for custom and non-standard furniture, elements and components are selected from a wide variety of high-quality material suppliers.
The next stage is the selection of decorations for the walls (wallpapers, plasters, latex, etc.), floors (tiles, parquets, carpets, etc.)

All this is visualized by software for each individual zone. 3D visualizations give the client an idea of the final result of the project, and the price includes a one-time correction of each visualization. Each subsequent visualization (or correction of an existing visualization) is paid additionally.

3. Technical documentation

Step three in the interior design project is the preparation of technical documentation of the individual details in the interior.

It includes:
• Construction works
• Project flooring and soffits
• Corrections to the Electrical Installations and Plumbing
• Lighting design - lighting circles and types of lighting fixtures
• Drawings and specifications of the materials of the specific furniture that will be made to order
• Expansion of the premises with positioning of furniture, paneling, decorations, in cases where it is necessary
• Drawings of the furniture to be made by a subcontractor
• Specifications and quantities for individual items such as lamps, upholstered furniture, cabinet furniture, etc.

4. Author supervision

The last step is the implementation of author's supervision and investor control during the execution in order to follow the work process, according to the project approved by the client.
Author supervision includes the following activities:

Site visits and participation in meetings related to project implementation.
Control of the site in relation to the quality of the construction works.
Assistance in the selection of materials and contractors in the implementation of the project.
Assistance in the timely resolution of problems that arise during the CMR.
Production of additional detail drawings in cases where this is necessary.
In parallel with these activities, investor control also runs, which includes:
Control over the quality and quantity of input materials.
Control over bids.
Logistics
Coordination and control of subcontractors.
Other tasks assigned by the Investor related to construction works.
